• Search stops when it detects variable signal strength – this does not always indicate radio
broadcasts.
• The reception of the radio depends to a great extent on the location of use and the current
reception conditions.
• Do not place large metal objects or electrical equipment near the device.
• Pull out the rear cable-antenna and carefully fix it to the position where it is best received. The
location of the device and the direction of the antenna also affect the reception quality.
• If you are listening to it while charging, network noise may occur in the speakers. This device
is intended for use when supplied with power from a battery, and it is recommended to recharge
it after use.
WIRED AUDIO INPUTS (MIC IN, GT IN, LINE IN)
The following options are available to connect external devices with headphone output
or audio output to the amplifier:
MIC IN:
∅
6,3 mm socket for handheld microphone (not included, pl. SAL M 8, SAL
M 71)
GT IN:
∅
6,3 mm socket for guitar pickup (not included)
LINE IN:
∅
3,5 mm socket to receive external unit headphone or LINE OUT output
(mobile phone, tablet, computer, multimedia player, musical instrument, CD/DVD…).
• You can charge the connected mobile device (LINE IN) from the left side (DC5V OUT) USB
socket.
• The available sound quality depends on the quality of audio signal provided by the external
device, as well as it is volume and sound settings.
• It is recommended to turn off the volume control on the player and use it only on the sound box.
• The small signal (volume) entering the sound box may cause excessive noise, and the signal
too high may cause distortion. It is recommended to keep the volume of the signal source at a
moderate level.
• The connection cable and, in some cases, an external adapter may need to be purchased for
proper connection.
• Refer to the instruction manual of the equipment you want to connect for more information.
KARAOKE FUNCTION
If you have a microphone with 6,3 mm diameter plug (e.g. SAL M 8, SAL M 71), you
can accompany the played songs with singing. Plug the microphone’s plug to the
MIC
IN
socket. The sound of the microphone can be listened to with any of the inputs and
functions, on the desired volume. Set the volume with the
MIC VOL
controller, the
magnitude of microphone echo with the
MIC ECHO
, its delay with the
MIC DELAY
rotary knob.
Extra functions are the switch on and off of the microphone priority with the remote
control’s
VOICE
button.
• Do not place the microphone in front of or nearby the speaker, because it may cause whistling
sound, buzz.
• Hold the microphone close to your mouth. Different microphones can produce different sound
quality.

according to the polarity indicated there. Later if you experience unstable operation or
reduced range, replace the battery.
• When using the remote control, point it to the direction of the rear music player, and it should be
within 3-4 meters from the device.
• You can use the remote control to switch the device back on, if it was switched off with that
previously. The control panel buttons will then be inactive. After finishing use, set the rear switch to
POWER OFF
position and unplug it.
• Remove the batteries, if you do not use the product for a long period of time. Remove the
battery immediately after it becomes depleted. Do not use batteries of different kind and condition
together. Battery replacement can only be performed by an adult. Keep batteries out of reach
of children.
• Wear protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth if liquid has flown out.
• Warning! Risk of explosion in case of incorrect battery replacement. It can only be done by the
same or a replacing type. Do not expose batteries to direct thermal radiation and sunshine. It is
forbidden to open it up, throw it in fire or to short circuit it. It is forbidden to charge non-rechar
-
geable batteries. Risk of explosion. Do not use an accumulator instead of the battery, because it
has less voltage and efficiency.
