FUEL QUANTITY INDICATING SYSTEM – REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1) A task to remove the fuel quantity indicator.
(2) A task to install the fuel quantity indicator.
2. Fuel Quantity Indicator Removal
A. Access
(1) Location Zone
(a) 101
Control Cabin Left
(b) 102
Control Cabin Right
B. Procedure
(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) FUEL QTY (C397)
2) EP GND FUELING (C398)
NOTE:
Circuit breaker C397 may also be labeled QTY.
(2) Loosen the clamp screw of the applicable indicator.
(3) Move the indicator and the digital calibration trim unit (DCTU) away from the panel.
(4) Disconnect the indicator from the DCTU.
NOTE:
Do not disconnect the DCTU from the aircraft wire bundle
3. Fuel Quantity Indicator Installation
A. Access

Control Cabin Left
(b) 102
Control Cabin Right
B. Procedure
(1) Connect the DCTU to the rear of the indicator.
(2) Put the indicator and the DCTU into the panel.
(3) Tighten the clamp screw on the indicator.
