3. Fuel Summation Unit Installation

A. Access

(1) Location Zone

(a) 102

Control Cabin Right

B. Procedure

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-REMOVE tags:

(a) On main power distribution panel P6:

1) FUEL

QTY

2) EP GRD FUELING

(2) Remove the cap from the connector, D3224, for the fuel summation unit (FSU) in the first officer’s

auxiliary panel.

(3) Connect the connector, D3224, to the rear of the FSU.

(4) Carefully put the FSU into its position in the first officer’s auxiliary panel.

(5) Tighten the four mounting screws that attach the FSU to the P23 panel

(6) Remove the DO-NOT-REMOVE tags and close these circuit breakers:

(a) On the P6 panel:

1) FUEL

QTY

2) EP GRD FUELING

(7) Perform operational test: “Fuel Summation Unit” (Ref 28-41-82/501).
