FUEL QUANTITY INDICATING SYSTEM – ADJUSTMENT/TEST
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks.
(1) A test for the correct operation of the fuel quantity indicating system.
(2) A system adjustment.
B. To do the test for the correct operation, you push the test switch in the control cabin and make sure
the indicators operate. You do this procedure again at the P15 refuel panel on the wing.
C. You must do a check of the value on the applicable fuel quantity indicator after you replace one of
these components:
(1) One of the tank units
(2) One of the wire harnesses
(3) One of the compensators
D. Compare the value to this table to see if you must do system test:

You must do the check before you put the fuel in the tank.

E. If the value on a fuel quantity indicator changes suddenly, do a check for water in the applicable fuel
tank (Ref 12-11-00/301).
F. An indicator in the control cabin is referred to as a fuel quantity indicator. An indicator in the refuel
control panel (P15) on the wing is referred to as a fueling or refuel quantity indicator.
