Troubleshooting 4
The Sonic Start
®
Prime Sensing Probe has a
flashing
Red
light. The flashing
Red
light means
there is an overload or short circuit in the
SONIC
START
®
wiring or a problem with the
SONIC
START
®
Prime Sensing Probe.
1. If the
Red
light is flashing, first check
the wiring to the control panel and
back. If you find a loose connection,
this was the problem and the pump
will perate normally now. If not, go to
Step 2.
2. If, after checking all of the wiring
items and it does not correct the
flashing
Red
light, then check the
Din Connector Cable (Item 9).
Make sure the
Din Connector Cable
(Item 9)
is securely screwed in and
attached to the
SONIC START
®
Prime Sensing Probe. If it was not
securely connected and now it is, thus
resolving the problem, the pump will
now operate normally. If not, go to
Step 3.
3. If the
Red
light is still flashing, switch
the
SONIC START
®
Operating
Module out with another
SONIC
START
®
Operating Module. If this
resolves the problem, you have a
defective
SONIC START
®
Operating
Module. If not, go to
Step 4
.
4. If this still does not solve the problem,
then switch out the
SONIC START
®
Prime Sensing Probe itself. The
SONIC START
®
Prime Sensing
Probe needs to be replaced.
