User Manual

Unit Configuration

Network

The Network menu allows you to configure several

parameters to ensure compatibility between the S1600e and

its IP network. The parameters are:

Parameter

Description

DHCP Configuration To enable or disable the use of DHCP (dynamic host

configuration protocol) to automatically get a valid
network configuration for the unit from a server.

Local IP Address

The IP address of the S1600e unit.

Subnet Mask

The binary configuration specifying in which subnet the
IP address of the unit belongs.

Gateway

The IP address of the network point that acts as an
entrance to another network.
