Installing the Unit

13

Installing the Unit

Once your system is successfully configured, it is ready to be 

installed in its final location. 

To install the system:

1

On the transmitter, plug the video cable of the dome or 

camera to the video connector. 

2

On the receiver, plug the video input cable of the 

monitor to the video connector. 

3

Connect the RS-422/485 serial port of the unit to the 

target device (for instructions, see page 14).

4

Plug the network cable to the RJ-45 Ethernet connector 

on the unit.

5

When installing an S1600e-XT unit, make it stand 

vertically, allowing for better cooling.
