Security
The security settings are relative to the protection of the
unit. For more information, see page 28.
The parameters are:
Parameter Description
IP Firmware Update To enable or disable the performance of firmware
updates on the unit through the IP network.
Telnet Session To enable or disable the access to the command line
interface (CLI) of the unit with Telnet.
HTTP Access To enable or disable the access to the Web interface
of the unit.
Secure HTTP Access To enable or disable the access to the Web interface
of the unit in a secure SSL context. If enabled, you
access the unit with
https://
in your Web browser;
furthermore, the user account mode (described on
page 44) is automatically activated.
Global Security Profile To enable or disable the complete SSL security on the
unit. If enabled, you cannot access the unit with
Telnet, you cannot perform firmware update over the
IP network on it, and the secure HTTP access is
enabled.
SSL Passkey The passkey to secure the unit with SSL.
