Chapter 3. Installing and Configuring Workstation Software

Installing the MCS Workstation Software

During the installation process, the installation script
creates two directories:

❐

C:\MCSWS

stores the executable files.

❐

C:\MCU_PRNT

stores process files, such as conference

information files and accounting files.

To install the MCS workstation software, follow these
steps from Program Manager:

1. Make a copy of the MCS Workstation User Interface

diskettes, and write-protect the disks.

Store the original disks in a safe place.

2. Insert the copy of disk 1 into the diskette drive.

3. Do one of these steps:

When using Windows 3.1, choose

File

Run

■

When using Windows 95, choose

Start

➞

Run

You see the Run dialog box.

4. Type the following command:

A:SETUP

5. Click

You see the

Copying initialization files

message in the

Setup dialog box.

6. Read and follow the displayed instructions.
