Attaching an MCS Workstation

Because problems can occur during the installation
process, directly connect the workstation to the MCS for
the initial installation. After confirming that the MCS
and workstation are working properly, you may want to
use a switched (dialed) or TCP/IP connection. For
information about using these connection methods, see
Appendix A.

After cabling and configuring the MCS, you can work
from any connected MCS workstation.
