Power Drive Operating Instructions

Prior to operating the power drive, read this section and heed any caution statements or
warnings.

A – Speed Control

– Sets the speed of the device.

B – Directional Switches

– Selects which direction the motor will drive the device.

C – Battery Charge Gauge

– Indicates the remaining battery charge. Can also assist with

troubleshooting of the power drive (see Table 1 on page 67).

D – ON/OFF Switch

– The main power switch. OFF = manual mode (drive wheel is retracted);

ON = transport mode (drive wheel is lowered)

E – Horn

– Warns others of approach.

F – Emergency Switch

– Shuts off the device in an emergency situation when it cannot be shut

down in the usual manner.

G – Acceleration Control Throttle

– Activates movement and controls the speed of the device.
