Installing the manual block clamp
4.1
Cleaning functional surfaces
1. Clean the upper and lower conical surfaces (A) with alcohol.
2. Clean the external thread of the block shaft (B) with alcohol.
3. Clean the contact surfaces between the block fastener (C) and the block
shaft with alcohol.
4. Clean the block shaft up to the recess (D) with alcohol.
NOTICE
Use the supplied materials
Use the supplied cotton swabs for cleaning.
Use the cleaning cone for the conical inside surfaces of the block shaft.
NOTICE
Clean carefully
Clean the external thread carefully. It must be free of dirt and grease for the
subsequent bonding.
