Profile
You can set H.265/H.264 Profile to High Profile or Main Profile, depending on the compression needs. With the same
bit rate, the higher the compression ratio, the better the image quality. The default setting is Main Profile .
Note: Make sure the higher compression ratio is supported by the system before setup.
Framerate
The framerate parameter serves to set the frames per second (fps), if necessary. The default setting of Stream 1 is 30
fps (NTSC) or 25 fps (PAL). The maximum framerate range of each stream will vary depending on the selected video
resolution.
Note: A low framerate will decrease the video smoothness.
Bitrate
The default value of the H.265/H.264 bitrate for Stream 1/Stream 2 is 4096kbit/s ; for Stream 3/Stream 4 it is 2048
kbit/s . Enter a value between 512 and 10240 kbps. The total bit rate should not exceed 26624 kbps.
GOV Length
You can set the GOV length to determine the frame structure (I-frames and P-frames) in a video stream to save
bandwidth. Less bandwidth is needed if the GOV length is set to a high value. However, the shorter the GOV length,
the better the video quality. The default value for Stream 1/Stream 2 is 50 ; for Stream 3/Stream 4 this is 30 . Enter a
value between 1 and 255.
Q (Quality) Factor (MJPEG Only)
The default value of MJPEG Q factor is 35 . Enter a value between 1 and 70.
Click the Save button to confirm the entry or click the Reset button to return to the previous values.
3.3.2 Video Rotation
Rotate Function
This parameter enables you to change the video display type. Available video rotation types include Mirror and
90/180/270 degree clockwise rotation:


Yes from the drop-down menu to flip the image horizontally.

Rotate Type
Select
0 , 90 , 180 or 270 degrees from the drop-down menu to rotate the image accordingly.
Click the Save button to confirm the selections.
3.3.3 Video Text Overlay
Overlay Type
You can select up to three items out of the first four items below to be displayed on the live video pane.

Include date & time
Check the box to enable date & time display on the live video pane. You can select the options date , time , or
date & time from the drop-down menu and select the string align position (left or right).

Include text string
Check the box to enable text string display on the live video pane. Type the text to be displayed in the entry field
and select the string align position (left or right). The maximum length of the text string is 15 alphanumeric
characters.

Include subtitle
Check the box to enable subtitle display on the live video pane. Type the text to be displayed in the entry field
and select the string align position (left or right). You can configure up to three subtitles. The maximum length
of each subtitle is 54 alphanumeric characters.
