8 Troubleshooting
These guidelines provide tips to deal with problems you may encounter while using
the projector. If the problem remains unsolved, contact your dealer for assistance.
Often after time spent troubleshooting, the problem is traced to something as simple
as a loose connection. Check the following before proceeding to the problem-specific
solutions.
Use some other electrical device to confirm that the electrical outlet is working.

Ensure the projector is turned on.

Ensure all connections are securely attached.
"
Ensure the attached device is turned on.
"
Ensure a connected PC is not in suspending mode.
"
Ensure a connected notebook computer is configured for an external display.
"
(This is usually done by pressing an Fn-key combination on the notebook.)
“No Signal ” Message is displayed
Make sure the correct Input is selected.
Make sure the desired video source is on and its output is configured correctly.
Check cable connection from the desired video source to the projector.
Image Problems (No image appears on-screen)
Ensure all the cables and power connections are correctly and securely connected as
described in the “Installation” section.
Ensure the pins of connectors are not crooked or broken.
Image is out of focus
Adjust the Focus Ring on the projector lens.
Make sure the projection screen is between the required distance from the projector
(see “projection distances”)
The image is stretched when displaying 16:9 DVD title
When you play anamorphic DVD or 16:9 DVD, the projector will show the best image
in 16:9 format on the projector side.
If you play the LBX format DVD title, please change the format as 4:3 in projector OSD
If the image is still stretched, you will also need to adjust the aspect ratio by referring
to the following:

setup the display format as 16:9 (wide) aspect ratio type on your DVD player.
The image is too small or too large
Adjust the zoom lever on the bottom of the projector.
Move the projector closer to or further from the screen.
Press “MENU” on the back panel or in the remote control, to “DISPLAY → FORMAT”:
try the different settings.
Image has slanted sides
If possible, reposition the projector so that it is centered on the screen, and below the
