Display Mode
There are many factory presets optimized for various types of images:
NATURAL:
this mode is intended to reproduce, as close as possible, the image the
way the movie director intended. Color, color temperature, brightness and gamma
settings are all configured to standard reference levels. The default Color Gamut is the
HDTV and Color Temperature D65 (HDTV – D65).
DYNAMIC:
optimized for displaying photographic images. This mode tend to over
saturate the colors to exalt the image displayed.
The default Color Gamut is the Native – D75.
CINEMA:
default settings for home theater.
The default Color Gamut is the Cinema SIM2 (available only D65).
FILM:
the purest color settings for home theater.
The default Color Gamut is the Cinema SIM2 (available only D65).
BRIGHT:
maximum brightness from PC input.
The default Color Gamut is the Native – Native.
USER:
user's settings.
The default Color Gamut is the HDTV – D65.
3D:
recommended setting for 3D mode enabled. When in 3D mode all the display
mode are dimmed except the User that become User 3D. Adjustment by the user in
User 3D will be saved for further use.
The default Color Gamut is the Native – D65.
Note:
The Display Mode depends on the input source and timings. For example, the
display mode will be different from HDMI and VGA.
User mode has the same initial settings of the NATURAL mode.
If you change any of the image settings, the display mode presets will be changed and
saved automatically. If you want to return to the factory default display mode, select
RESET CURRENT from the menu SETUP (see page “Reset” at page 48).
