Important information
Please read these instructions carefully before using
the product for the first time. They will give you im-
portant information for your safety and the use and
maintenance of this SIKU
CONTROL
product. Keep
these instructions carefully for information or for any
warranty claims.
This SIKU
CONTROL
product has been designed in
accordance with the latest safety requirements and
has been manufactured under constant quality mo-
nitoring. We incorporate the results of this monito-
ring in our development process. For this reason we
reserve the right to technical and design amend-
ments so that we are always able to offer our custo-
mers optimum product quality. Nevertheless, should
there be reason for complaint please contact your
dealer.
Safety information
• This model may only be used for the
purpose in-
tended
, i.e. as a toy
in dry rooms
. Any other use
is not allowed and may be dangerous. The manu-
facturer cannot made responsible for damage cau-
sed from failure to use the product correctly.

Protect model from damp!
• For safety reasons the vehicle may not be used ne-
ar to slopes, stairs, roads, rail tracks, waters, fan
heaters, puddles, sand pits etc.
• Ensure that the model is first played with after the
model and remote control module has been chek-
ked and put into operation by an adult.
• Only adults are permitted to replace the storage
battery on the tractor.
• The model complies with the prescribed safety le-
gislation (to 88/378/EEC, 2009/48/EG and
89/336/ EEC) and is TÜV-GS tested. Dangers to
the user may arise from improper repairs and
structural alterations (dismantling of original parts,
attachment of inadmissible parts, changes to the
electronics etc.)
• Instruct children on how to handle the model cor-
rectly and bring their attention to possible danger.
• Bear in mind that unforeseeable situations may ari-
se from the natural playful temperament of chil-
dren for which the manufacturer cannot be held
responsible.
• Although danger to children is essentially ruled out
if the model is used correctly you should supervise
play.
• Use exclusively dry and dust-free cloths to clean
and care for the model and remote control modu-
le.
• Please make sure that the model is never picked up
from the floor when the wheels are turning.
• Do not bring fingers, hair and loose clothing near
the rear axle, the wheels, the trough or the rear
coupling if the model is switched on (operating
switch set to “ON”).
• In order to guarantee the design-related safety le-
vel of this model on a long-term basis it should be
checked regularly by an adult for any visible da-
mage.
Accessories
The SIKU
CONTROL
accessories with Art. Nos. 6780,
6781, 6782 and 6783 can be used irrespective of the
selected transmission system. They can be used both
for the tractor models operated with radio remote
control and those operated with the infrared remote
control.
SIKU toy models are manufactured according to the
latest safety requirements. Not suitable for children
aged 3 years and under due to small parts which
may be swallowed. The packaging contains manu-
facturer information; please keep. Subject to colour
Notice: For design reasons, trouble-free opera-
tion can only be guaranteed for SIKUCONTROL
tractors made in 2007 or later.
THE FIRST TIME YOU START
Operation with remote control module A and B
The lights functions of this trailer can be activated
using the SIKUCONTROL remote control modules.
Using the data cable, connect the trailer and the
tractor by plugging the respective end of the
data cable into the corresponding socket of the sto-
rage battery (Fig.
). Now, set the storage battery
of the tractor to ON.
Activate the tipping function (Fig.
) on the remote
control module by operating the joy stick. Pushing the
joystick upwards causes the trough to be lifted.
Pushing the joystick downwards causes the trough to
be lowered.
The lights function (Fig.
) of the trailer is switched
parallel to that of the tractor.
The lights are activated by pressing the lighted but-
ton.
Operation with remote control module C
The trough can be tipped to the right and the left
using the + and - buttons on remote control module
C.
The lights function is switched parallel to that of the
tractor, whose lights are set to continuous operation.
PLEASE NOTE:
It is not possible to operate the trai-
ler with the remote control module unless the data
cable is connected to the tractor as the trailer does
not have its own receiver unit.
