HARDWARE INSTALLATION GUIDE

This section explains how to mount the flow computer assembly and how to complete the Input/Output
wiring. In addition, it provides details on how to select a location and then install clamp-on transducers.
Please refer to the installation/outline drawings located in Appendix A that provide important installation
information that does not appear in this section.

3.1

MOUNTING THE FUS1020 FLOWMETER

The Model FUS1020 Flowmeter can either be integrally mounted to the transducer track or as a remote
mounted unit. It is shown below in the remote wall mounted position. Please refer to Outline Drawing
1020-8 in Appendix A of this field manual for outline dimensions, etc. The Model FUS1020 can operate
with 1021 Series transducers, 1011 Universal Series tranducers and 990 Series transducers. For
Flow Tube setup and operation refer to Section 4.
