The “Input and output diagnostics” parameter is used to specify in HW Config
which analog inputs and outputs are to trigger a diagnostic interrupt in the event of
an error.

If the diagnostics for inputs are enabled, the SM 335 checks for common-mode
errors and measuring range violations.
When you enable diagnostics for the outputs, the SM 335 executes a short-circuit
test on the outputs.
