4.4 Installing a system power supply

Installing a system power supply

To install the system power supply, follow these steps:
1.

Insert the U-connector into the back of the system power supply.

Hang the system power supply on the mounting rail.

Swivel the system power supply to the rear.

Installing a system power supply

Open the front cover.

Disconnect the power cable connector from the system power supply.

Screw the system power supply tight (torque 1.5 Nm).

Insert the already wired-up power cable connector into the system power supply.

Information on wiring the power cable connector is available in the section Wiring the system

power supply and load power supply (Page 117).

Uninstalling a system power supply

The system power supply is wired up.
To uninstall the system power supply, follow these steps:
1.

Open the front cover.

Shut down the system power supply.

Turn off the supply voltage.

Disconnect the power cable connector, and remove the connector from the system power

supply.

Unscrew the fixing screw.

Swivel the system power supply out of the mounting rail.
