Using automatic backup of a system memory card
If a system memory card already contains automatically backed-up data, the corresponding

backup must first be loaded. Automatic backup can then be continued.
1.

Insert the SIMATIC SD memory card with automatically backed-up data in slot X50.

The "System memory card plugged" dialog box is displayed.

Press the "OK" button.

The window "Service and Commissioning" > "Restore" opens in the Control Panel.

Select a backup file and press the "Restore" button.

The following dialog box indicates that all data on the device will be overwritten.
