Description

PACS

Configures the 

ACUSON

 Freestyle to link to a DICOM-compliant 

Picture Archival and Communications System (PACS).

Storage Commitment

When on, supported by your PACS system and, configured on 

the ultrasound system, confirms that a study has been received 

and stored by the target device.

Worklist

When supported by your PACS system and configured on 

the ultrasound system, manages the 

ACUSON

 Freestyle’s 

communication with a DICOM Worklist Server to download 

patient information. 

System

Sets the DICOM 

AE Title

 (the name the system provides to the 

DICOM server) and the port to use. 

DICOM Setup Menu Soft Keys

In the DICOM setup menus, the Soft Key functions include:

NEW

– to add a new network connection.

DELETE

 – deletes a selected network connection.

EDIT

 – to edit or configure a network connection.

EDIT OK

 – confirms the values that were entered.
