Notes on protective measures for the C4000
Protect C4000 Standard/Advanced from damage!
Experience in practice has shown the need to install a protective bar when using the
C4000 in a harsh environment. To prevent mechanical damage to the C4000 (e.g. due to
incorrect loading and unloading, bulk material containers at presses, etc.), we recommend
protecting the C4000 sender and receiver with suitable measures.
For this purpose the following protective measures can be used:
1.
Use of front screen protection for C4000 sender and receiver (see C4000
Standard/Advanced operating instructions, chapter “Accessories”)
2.
The attachment of mechanical ram protection (see below)
3.
Use of anti-vibration mounts (see C4000 Standard/Advanced operating instructions,
chapter “Accessories”)
Mounting notes on the installation of the C4000 on the machine/system
In the following there is an example of a possible protective measure using a protective
bar around the C4000 sender/receiver.
The mounting recommendation shown applies to the C4000 sender and receiver.
