Electrical installation
1.
Carefully place both units on a slip-resistant base with the lenses facing downwards.
2.
Remove the rear panel of the units by loosening the four cross-recessed screws.
3.
Set the required interface type by configuring the DIL switches S 2.3 and S 2.4 on the
additional p.c.b. (
Fig. 5-11
) as shown in
Table 5-8
.
The default setting is
RS 485-2w
(S 2.3 set to ON)
Data transfer rate
Ø
Set the data transfer rate for the RS 485 interface via the DIL switches S 1.1 to S 1.7 as
shown in
Fig. 5-11
. Only set the switch for the desired transfer rate to ON!
The default setting is
187,500 bd
(S 1.4 set to ON).
Ø
Secure the rear panels tightly again before installing the units.
