Connecting digital tuner, etc.
The S-video cable offers you clearer images. You can hear the sound by connecting
one of the audio cable or optical digital cable. If you are using the digital tuner with
the optical output socket, you can enjoy better sound by connecting the tuner to the
optical digital input socket of this unit.
To connect to the S-VIDEO socket (AV 3) with S-video cable:

Turn off the other equipment before making this connection.

Change the audio between analogue and digital with the AV 3 button. (page 64)

When connecting the cable to the S-video socket of this unit, connect the other
end of the cable to the S-video socket on the TV monitor. This unit cannot convert
the S-video signals into video signals or the other way.

Insert the plugs fully to avoid fuzzy pictures or noise.
