Remove the table glass. (See “a. Table glass”)

Move the lamp unit.

Clean mirrors 2 and 3.

Remove the harnesses clamp and the dark box.

* When attaching the dark box cover, check to insure that the

blade spring is in the original position.

Remove the lens cover.

Cary out cleaning of the lens and CCD.

Cary out cleaning of the reflector.

f. Scanner dry heater

Remove the table glass. (See “a. Table glass”)

Shift the lamp unit, and remove the dark box. (See “c. Mirror”)

Remove the dark box and remove the harness clamp, and
remove the scanner dry heater.
