Maintenance

Pay attention to avoid strong shocks of the device when working with it or when handling it. Strong
shocks of the probes might damage the sensors, which should be avoided at any time.

Do not use any sharp objects to operate the control and display unit! This might cause damages on
the operating unit.

Always keep your device clean and pay special attention to the batteries and the battery contacts in
order to guarantee the power supply of the device. The hinge joint needs to be kept clean at all
times. Otherwise the probe cannot be aligned correctly.

It is recommended to clean the device after each survey and to let it dry. Damaged system
components (especially the probe as well as the control and display unit) need to be replaced or
repaired immediately. Always use original spare parts from SENSYS for this purpose. The repair
work has to be carried out by SENSYS.

There is no need to calibrate the probe prior to a survey due to the use of tension band technology
used in the device. Nevertheless it is recommended to send in the device to SENSYS service to be
checked for adherence of all parameters of this high-precision measurement device.
