Borehole Fields 7.6.1
Creating a borehole or borehole row
A new borehole row is created via "Menu" - "Edit" - "New Row" (2). In the next screen enter all
parameters according to the sketch, type in the first borehole name und confirm with "Create" (3).
You can name the boreholes (Base name) as you wish, just consider MonSX will add an
ascending, two-digit number at the end or will continue your number. To ensure visibility in the
borehole plan and borehole list, it is recommended to set just one letter and two figures. The new
borehole row is now displayed in the borehole plan.
For creating a single borehole, press "New Borehole" and follow the steps in the same way than
above.
You can add as many boreholes/borehole rows to a borehole field as required. Single
boreholes and borehole rows can be mixed up in one single field. The borehole
parameters can be modified at any time prior to the measurement.
A validity check is automatically conducted by the system for the entered parameters.
The systems checks e.g. if the row length is an integer multiple of the hole spacing. The
system corrects the values if required and informs the user about these corrections.
Creating a borehole field for a suspicious point
The method for creating a borehole grid for a suspicious point is quite similar to creating a borehole
field.
A suspicious point is created in the "Selection of Borehole" via "Menu" - "Edit" - "New suspicious
point" (4). In the next screen enter all parameters according to the sketch, type in the first borehole
name und confirm with "Create" (5). You can name the boreholes (Base name) as you wish, just
consider MonSX will add an ascending, two-digit number at the end or will continue your number.
The grid around the suspicious point is now displayed in the borehole plan.
