Preparing the SBL10 7.6.2

Turn off the SBL10 and connect the borehole probe as described in Chapter 5 Preparing the
Survey

Turn on the SBL10.
·
Select a measurement mode (1, 2 or 3).
The selected mode (1, 2 or 3) has no influence on data logging. However, if the mode is
being changed during the survey with a PDA, then data logging will stop automatically.

Select a measurement range.
The selected measurement range has no influence on data logging. This is also true if
the measurement range is being changed during the survey.

Compensate the SBL10 using the “COMP” button. The compensation value is determined and
stored along with the measurement data.

Measurement of Boreholes 7.6.3
After applying all relevant settings, you can select the first borehole for measurement directly from
the borehole plan in the borehole selection or from the borehole list.
Already measured boreholes are marked with a green checkmark in the borehole list and a green
borehole icon in the borehole plan. The borehole list contains also the X- and Y-Coordinates and the
depth.
To start the survey, choose a borehole either from the borehole list or from the borehole plan and
tap on "Logging" (1).
