You can measure the boreholes in any order. But after you've measured any borehole
from the list, MonSX will always propose the next borehole from the list. To select any
other borehole tap "Back" and choose the borehole in the borehole selection. You have
also the possibility to measure one borehole several times. Previous data will not be
lost
.
You are now in Stand-By-Mode with the following information:
2) Borehole number
3) Measurement Range of Live-View
4) X- and Y-Coordinate of borehole
5) Live-View of data
6) Depth of borehole
7) Compensation value
You can change the displayed measurement range by tapping "Menu" - "Measurement Range".
To start a borehole measurement, lower the external probe with the mounted weight to the borehole
bottom. Keep the cable tight and ensure that the probe is not tilted in the borehole.
1. Wait until the probe stops moving.
2. Start measurement by tapping on the stand-by screen or the "Start"-Button (8) and start pulling
with constant pace at once.
3. Stop the measuring by tapping on the stand-by screen or the "Stop"-Button (9) immediately when
the center of the probe (see figure below) is reaching the ground level.
During the data logging, the graph of the measurement screen will be colored red and a tone will be
heard as an audible feedback.
You will be asked if you would like to take over the borehole data (10) or if you would like to repeat
the measurement. If the latter is the case, lower the borehole probe in the borehole again and
repeat the measurement.
