The wiring scheme of a cable linking two network interface cards is only different in that the green
and orange pairs have their places swapped at one end of the cable. To put it in simpler terms, one of
the connectors is 586A, and the other 586B. This is called a “crossover” aka “null-hub” cable. The same
scheme is used for cascading (connecting) hubs. Below is a table to illustrate:
