6А – a single 8-position socket (8P8C) is connected through a patch cord to the 8P8C socket of the
Electronic Switch;
6B – connection to a single 6-position socket (6P4C or 6P2С). The line to be tested is connected to the
8P8C socket of the Electronic Switch through the Pass-Through Socket (20, Fig.1) and Telephone Cable
(8, Fig.1).
Targeted Threats:
– active hard-wired low-frequency microphones
– active hard-wired high-frequency transmitters
– other active or passive electronic devices directly connected to the tested line

modular connectors.
Operation Modes of ST300:
– wired receiver
– low frequency amplifier
7А – connection to a single 8P8C socket. The line to be tested is connected to the 8P8C socket of
the Electronic Switch with the aid of the Splitter (22, Fig.1) and Cable (3, Fig.1). The client device is
connected to the Splitter through a standard cable.
7B – connection to a double (parallel) 8P8С socket. The line to be tested is connected to the 8P8C
socket of the Electronic Switch through the Cable (3, Fig.1). The client device is connected to the
Splitter through a standard cable.
7С – connection to a double (parallel) 6-position (6P4C or 6P2С) socket.
The line to be tested is connected to the 8P8C socket of the Electronic Switch through the Cable (3,
Fig.1), Pass-Through Socket (21, Fig.1) and Telephone Cable (8, Fig.1). The client device is connected
to the Splitter through a standard cable.
7D – connection to a single 6-position (6P4C or 6P2С) socket. The line to be tested is connected to
the 8P8C socket of the Electronic Switch through the Cable (3, Fig.1), Pass-Through Socket (20, Fig.1),
Telephone Cable (8, Fig.1) and the Splitter (21, Fig.1). The client device is connected to the Splitter
through a standard cable.

– active hard-wired high-frequency transmitters
– other active or passive electronic devices directly connected to the tested line
– hidden “lawful intercept” modes of office PBX’s and VoIP-telephony devices
