Upon activation of the differential mode, the frequency segment setting and gain setting made in the
main menu of the “WR” mode will be retained. Signal peak data (dark red spectrum) will not be saved.
In the differential mode all the features of the receiver main menu are available, i.e., access to the
Main Menu and the “SWITCH” mode, gain control and the adjustment of the frequency segment width,
activation of signal monitoring at a set frequency and automated search.
Please bear in mind, that upon exit from the receiver differential mode to the Main Menu (2.2.), any
settings made in the “WR” mode will be discarded.
Upon exit from the differential mode to the “SWITCH” mode (“F1” key) and then return to the “WR”
mode (“F2” key), the main screen of the “WIRED RECEIVER” mode will be displayed (and not the
differential mode screen).
To deactivate differential mode, press “F3”. The “Diff mode” hotkey on display will be deselected. The
settings of the frequency segment and gain, made in the differential mode, will be saved.
2.6.3 Monitoring Signal at a Set Frequency
This mode is intended for a detailed evaluation of signals detected in the overview modes (2.6.1-
2.6.2). Monitoring at a set frequency allows listening to the demodulated signal, and analyzing it with
the oscilloscope.
Monitoring at a given frequency is accessible from the main menu of the “WR” mode, and from the
differential mode.
Fig.30
To activate the set frequency mode from the main
“WR” menu, set the hairline cursor at the signal of
interest using the and keys, and press “ENTER”.
In Fig.30, the display is shown in the set frequency
mode, the numbers representing:
1 – current mode
2 – wire pair connected
3 – signal amplitude at the selected frequency
4 – frequency selected with the cursor
5 – hairline cursor
6 – results of the previous scanning (grey)
7 – peak signal amplitude over all cycles at the
given frequency (dark red)
8 – band segment relative to full band
The actions and controls during signal monitoring at a set frequency:
– receiver frequency tuning
“F1” – exit to the “SWITCH” mode (if the Electronic Switch is connected)
“F2” – toggle modulation type (АМ/FM)
“F3” – activate oscilloscope
“F4” – set receiver gain
“ENTER” and “ESC” – exit to the main screen of the “WIRED RECEIVER” mode
Upon exit from the set frequency monitoring mode to the “SWITCH” mode and then return to the
“WR” mode, the main menu of the “WIRED RECEIVER” mode will be displayed (and not the set frequency
monitoring menu). The settings of the frequency segment and gain, made previously, will be saved.
9 – lower and upper limits of the selected frequency segment
10 – hotkey assignments
