WARNING: If a Low Battery Condition is indicated prior to a dive, DO NOT
attempt to dive with the XP 5 until the battery is replaced.
INSPECTIONS AND SERVICE
Your XP 5 should be
inspected annually
by an Authorized SEEMANN Dealer who
will perform a factory prescribed function check and inspection for damage or wear.
To keep the 2 year limited warranty in effect, this inspection must be completed one
year after purchase (+/- 30 days).
SEEMANN recommends that you continue to have this inspection performed every year
to ensure it is working properly.
The costs of annual inspections are not covered under the terms of the 2 year limited
warranty.
WARNING: If you are in doubt about the accuracy of your XP 5 depth
readings, DO NOT attempt to dive with it until it has been inspected by
SEEMANN Customer Service.
It is possible to damage the depth sensor of the XP 5 if it is not pressure tested
properly. Ensure that the Dealer adheres to the following warning.
WARNING: Ensure that the XP 5 is never pressure tested in an air envi-
ronment. Doing so may damage the depth sensor, possibly resulting
in erroneous depth or time readings.
