Exterior Equipment

Aft Systems Room Access Hatch

A hatch in the center, rear of the cockpit provides

access to the fuel valves, fuel filters, pumps, sea

water strainers, generator and other equipment in

the stern bilge. The fuel supply manifolds, valves

and filters are located on each side of the com

partment. The engine control systems, stern bilge

pump, emergency bilge pump, fishbox pumps,

high water alarm, sea chest, baitwell pump, air

conditioner pump are also among the equipment

in this compartment.

The hatch is held open by gas hatch lifters and

secured closed with rotating latches. There is a

large red dot in each latch handle that indicates

that the latch is in the open position and the

hatch is not secure. Always make sure the hatch

is closed with the latches in the secured position

before operating the boat above idle speed.

Rod Rack

There is a recessed rod storage rack located below

the gunnel on the starboard side of the cockpit.

The rack is equipped with stretch cords to secure

the rods to the rack. Always make sure the rods

are properly secured in the storage rack with the

rod tips forward.

Stern Bench Seat

Your boat is equipped with a forward facing bench

seat in the rear of the cockpit. The seat is de-

signed to fold flush against the cockpit when it is

not in use.

To use the seat, pull the handle near the top of

the seat base out of the recess toward the cockpit.

The bottom of the seat slides in a track and two

side supports move out with the seat as it folds

out. The seat automatically locks into the seating

position when the cushion reaches the full down

position.

To store the seat, pull the seat out slightly as you

raise the front. The rear supports will release and

slide down in the track as the seat and side sup-

ports fold into the recess. Fold the seat in until it

is flush with the recess, then push the seat firmly

into the recess. The seat will automatically be se-

cured in the stored position when it is completely

folded into the recess.
