Electrical System

remote switches and the battery switches that

indicate battery switch mode and status. These

lights will blink when the switch has been activated

and the motor is turning the battery switch ON or

OFF. The Parallel switches operate in exactly the

same manor as the battery switches.

Press the remote switch once to engage the bat-

tery switch. A blue light in the switch will illu-

minate to indicate that the battery switch is ON.

To turn the battery switch OFF, simply press the

switch again. The LED light may not turn off im

mediately or will slowly fade out if there are no

loads present on the system. This is normal as

the capacitors in the system drain.

To operate the battery switches remotely in Auto

Mode, the manual knob on each battery switch

must be set to “AUTO OFF.” In this position,

each battery switch will move from “AUTO OFF”

to “AUTO ON” when the remote switch is turned

on and from “AUTO ON” to “AUTO OFF” when the

remote switch is turned off. LED lights at the re

mote switches and on each battery switch will be

lit when the battery switches are in the ON posi-

tion. The LED lights at the remote switches and

on the battery switches will be off and the battery

switches will indicate “AUTO OFF” when the battery

switches are turned off. Remote operation of the

battery switches is not possible when they are set

There are four or five motorized battery switches

and three or four parallel switches in the DC elec-

trical panel, depending on whether your boat is

equipped with triple or quad engines. The battery

and parallel switches can be activated by labeled

switches in the cabin DC panel, the CZone control

feature or on the battery switch panel. They can

also be activated manually by rotating the knob

on each switch and remotely with the wireless

CZone remote control.

Battery switches are identified by red knobs and

the parallel switch knobs are yellow. The engine

batteries are dedicated to starting and operating

the engines. The house battery is dedicated to

powering DC accessories and the electronics. The

engine and house batteries can be temporarily

connected in parallel by the PARALLEL switch to

provide additional starting current for each engine.

The batteries are automatically charged by the

engines whenever they are running. The batter-

ies are also charged by the battery chargers when

the AC electrical system is activated.

The motorized battery switches can be controlled

remotely, in Auto Mode, by switches in the cabin

DC panel and battery switch panel or manually,

in Manual Mode, by turning the knob on the bat-

tery switches. There are LED lights on both the
