3. E-drive.
3.2.2 Insertion and removal
To insert the battery pack, insert it from the
back of the sliding rail into the mount below
the basket until it clicks into place in the lock.
Always remove the key before setting off.
To remove the battery pack, turn the key (
A
) clockwise as far as it goes
and hold it in this position. This unlocks the lock. Now you can release the
battery pack on the rear handle bar from the connection and pull it out of
the mount to the rear.
Danger due to unforeseen motor activity
The motor can start to move unexpectedly when the drive system remains
switched on when working on the tricycle. This can result in injuries.
• Only insert the battery pack again once the system has been fully
mounted.
• When restarting the tricycle after assembly or repair, position the tricycle
so that the drive wheel can rotate freely.
3.2.3 Service life
The manufacturer of the drive system, HEINZMANN, guarantees a minimum
of 600 charging cycles for the battery pack. Appropriate handling / stora-
ge and initial loading increases its service life.

The control unit is located on the handlebar
with the three MODE (

), arrow up (
