•
Proceed
Press A to proceed with the soft reboot.
•
Exit
Press Opt to Exit selection mode without rebooting.
This option reboots the scanner from the boot-up parameters stored in its
internal memory (NVRAM). Proceeding with this option will restore the
last set of parameters saved to NVRAM.
Save Parameters Option Choices
The Save Parameters option allows you to save parameter settings. The
keypad display alternately shows the possible parameter values for this
option: "A: PROCEED" and "Opt: Exit."
•
Proceed
Press A to save the current parameter settings to internal scanner
memory (NVRAM). Do this if you wish to replace the values stored
in the non-volatile RAM (NVRAM) with the current values.
A tone indicates that the save is complete-that is, all of the values
currently set are written into the NVRAM and will come up whenever
the scanner is powered on or rebooted.
•
Exit
Press Opt to Exit selection mode without proceeding with the Save
Parameters command.
CAUTION: When the Save Parameter option is used, it replaces all
former settings with the current values. To be sure you are only changing
the values you want changed, it is a wise precaution to power the scanner
off and then on again, change only the parameters you wish changed, and
then use the Save State option.
The parameters currently in effect are displayed across the keypad, except
when you are in option selection mode. The ones that are in effect at the
time you use Save Parameters become the new default settings at power-
up.
