NB! Do not use/start the Device if any salt balls have entered the fan
housing!
NB! Using salt balls manufactured by third parties voids the warranty for
the Device!
3. WARNINGS
• Staying in a steam room for a long time raises your body temperature,
which can be dangerous to your health.
• Do not allow children and disabled or ill persons in the sauna unattended.
• Consult with your doctor about medical contraindications to sauna
bathing.
• Consult with your doctor about medical contraindications to salt therapy.
• Make sure that you are not allergic to salt therapy. Saunum is not respon-
sible for any side effects of salt treatment.
• Consult with your paediatrician or family physician about allowing child-
ren to take a sauna bath.
• Use caution when walking in the sauna, as the floor and bench may be
slippery.
• Do not go to the sauna under the influence of alcohol, medications, or
drugs.
• Do not sleep in a hot steam room.
• Sea air and humid climate may cause an oxide layer (rust) to form on the
metal surfaces of the heater.
• Make sure that you have adequate ventilation in the steam room. Saunum
is not responsible for corrosion damage caused to the sauna equipment
by salt. Consult a specialist if necessary.
• Do not hang towels or clothes to dry in the steam room – this may cause a fire
hazard.
• Excessive moisture can damage electrical equipment.
NB! Do not leave the fan of the sauna climate unit running when you are not in
the steam room – this will cause excessive energy consumption and the bench
may become too hot.
4. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
CAUTION! Before servicing or cleaning the sauna climate unit, disconnect the
Device from the power grid and wait for the moving parts to stop completely.
Before maintaining or cleaning the Device, please make sure that:
• the Device has been disconnected from the power grid (switched off at the
overcurrent protection device in addition to the on/off switch of the Device)
• the ventilator of the Device has fully stopped working
• the required occupational safety and personal protective equipment are used
during performing the works
• the cables are not damaged. If any damage to cables is detected, the cables must
be replaced by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable standards and
requirements before continuing the maintenance and cleaning works.
The case of the Device may be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water. Do not
use a pressure washer or running water! Do not use chemical detergents or solvents!
Excessive dirt may cause imbalance of the ventilator rotor which will increase the
