qualifications for performing electrical work in compliance with applicable
standards and requirements. The Device must be connected to the power
grid by using fixed wiring and a cable which is suitable for the temperature
conditions of the environment with a dry connecting terminal in compliance
with the wiring diagrams provided in these instructions (figures 6, 7, 8, and
9). The external diameter of the cable may not exceed 10 mm. The connec-
ting terminals of the Device must be equipped with protective earthing (PE)
with a cross-sectional area of the wire of at least 1.5 mm2. The Device must
be connected to a 230 VAC 50/60 Hz supply circuit which is protected with a
2 A overcurrent protection device. The Device must also be connected with a
residual-current device to ensure the safety of the people in the sauna.
The illumination of the Device must be connected with a control system with
an external switch or a control system with an internal switch. The supply
circuit of the external switch must also be equipped with overcurrent and re-
sidual-current devices. The illumination and ventilation circuits of the Device
must be connected to external switches, the supply circuits of which must be
equipped with overcurrent and residual-current devices.
The power cable must enter the case of the Device vertically from below in
order to prevent flowing of water into the Device by the cable. The external
insulation layer of the cable may only be removed in the section which remai-
ns within the case of the Device.
Salt balls are placed in the Device after the it has been installed the wall. In
order to place the balls, the bottom grille must be removed by removing two
manually removable bolts (see figures 3 and 4). A tray with the balls can then
be placed in a recess that has been designed for this purpose.
2. DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The Device is designed for harmonising the climate in the sauna during
bathing.
Before using the Device for the first time, please check:
• compliance of the wiring with the requirements
• compliance of the supply voltage with the nominal permitted voltage
• the condition of the protective earthing (PE)
• the mountings on the case of the Device
• the wall mountings of the Device
• the condition/presence of overcurrent and residual-current devices
• the fan rotor – it must be able to rotate freely
• the case – all tools and residues of the materials used during installation
must be removed from the case of the Device
Upon activating the Device, please check:
• the direction of the airflow – air must be drawn from the upper and blown
out from the lower opening
• for abnormal noises and vibration during fan operation
• the stability of the illumination
2.1. Sauna climate control
The volume of air circulated by the Device can be adjusted by using the turn
switch on the right in the lower part of the Device. The turn switch has four
