the dash on the switch points to zero, the Device is switched off. Turning the
switch clockwise increases the speed of the airflow; there are three different
speed modes.
For adjusting the air temperature, there is a cooling valve on the lower part
of the front panel of the Device (Figure 3). We recommend keeping the valve
1/3 open. If you want to cool down the steam more, try opening the valve gra-
dually. Test the different ventilator speeds in order to find the best interior
climate for your sauna.
2.2. Using the Device
It is advisable to switch the Device on immediately prior to entering the sauna
and switch it off immediately after leaving the sauna. It is not advisable to
leave the Device on when no one is in the sauna, as constant operation of the
Device will increase the temperature in the lower part of the sauna and the
bench and the floor may become excessively hot.
To ensure long service life of the Device, please make sure that the tempera-
ture in the sauna at the lower part of the Device never exceeds 80 °C. When
this temperature is reached, the thermal protection of the Device will switch
on and the ventilator will stop; when the temperature drops below the activa-
tion level of the protection, the ventilator will be switched on again.
The manufacturer will not be held liable for any failures of the Device which
result from exceeding the permitted operating temperature.
If your Device is equipped with internal lights, the lights will also be switched
on with the ventilator when the Device is switched on (see the marking on the
packaging of the Device).
If your Device is wall-integrated and equipped with an external
touchscreen for selecting operating speeds, please keep in mind the fol-
lowing requirements:
• The external speed switch may only be installed outside of the sauna
and bathroom, advisably next to the door, so that it can be conveniently
switched on and off.
• The switch has three positions for selecting the intensity of the airf-
low. The Device can be switched on and off by pressing and holding the
touchscreen button of the desired speed.
• If the Device is equipped with internal lights, a separate switch must be
used for switching the lights on and off (optional accessory).
2.3 Using Himalayan salt balls
The sauna climate unit comes with Himalayan salt balls. The use of salt balls in
the Device is optional and does not affect the basic function of the Device.
If salt balls are used in the Device, the balls must be placed on the tray
between the air discharge grille and the ventilator so that they do not block
free rotation of the ventilator.
To place (figures 3 and 5) or remove the salt balls, open the two screws of the
air discharge grille and turn the grille down on the hinges. Do not apply exces-
sive force! After installing or removing the salt balls, close the discharge grille
and fasten it with two bolts. The sauna climate unit may only be used if the
grille is installed.
