End of Analysis
-
At the end of the Flue gas analysis, disconnect carefully the sample probe and any combustion air probe from the respective ducts,
taking care to avoid contact burns.
-
Then switch off the instrument with the On/Off button.
If the instrument detects the presence of a high level of CO or NO, a purging cycle is performed during which the pump draws in clean
air until concentrations are partial. The instrument switches off automatically after a maximum of 3 minutes.
Note: in all cases it is recommended to clean the instrument with clean air for at least 5-10 minutes before turning it off.
Cleaning the sample probe
When the sample probe has been finished with, before putting it back in the case, it is useful to clean it according to the following
instructions:
•
Disconnect the sample probe from the instrument and the water trap (fig. a-b) and then blow air into the probe tube (see Fig. b) to
remove any condensation residue inside the tube.

WHEN THE SMOKE SAMPLING PROBE IS REMOVED FROM THE STACK, THE PROBE TUBE AND THE
CONDENSATE CONTAINER SHOULD BE CHECKED FOR THE POSSIBLE FORMATION OF CONDENSATION.
BEFORE STORING THE PROBE IN THE STORAGE CASE, IT IS ADVISABLE TO CAREFULLY CLEAN THE PROBE
AND THE CONDENSATE CONTAINER.
TO AVOID DAMAGING THE INSIDE OF THE STORAGE CASE, MAKE SURE THAT THE METAL ROD OF THE
PROBE IS AT A TEMPERATURE BELOW 60°C.
