Resource-based CAC
System resource-based Call Admission Control uses two kinds of resources on
the basis of requested and used quantity of the resource, reserving the
resources necessary for processing a call. One method processes according to
CPU power and utilization of memory, and the other processes according to
utilization of DSP.
CPU/Memory sets up a threshold, on the basis of a pre-set percentage, and
starts controlling when the value is more than the designated high value, and
terminates when less than the designated low value.
CPU utilization
This is the function that checks utilization at 5 second-intervals and checks the
average at 30 second-intervals. It processes busyout or treatment when
utilization is more than the designated high value, and operates normally when
it is less than the low value.
To monitor utilization which is the global resource of Ubigate iBG3026
gateway.
A user can set it up using ‘call-admission threshold global’ command that is
the global CAC configuration, and release it using ‘no’ command.
A user is able to call-admission control, monitor utilization by using cpu-5sec,
cpu-avg trigger of call-admission threshold global.

Trigger-name is the value of cpu-5sec and cpu-avg against cpu utilization.
