3. Disassembly and Reassembly

3.3.6. Platen Unit

Remove the right cover. (Refer to 3.3.3.)

Unplug the platen cable on the main board.

Remove 4 screw-caps. Then remove 4 screws.

Remove 2 screws from the rear.

Lift up and release the platen unit.
