If the channel is set to <

> mode, the channel’s sound is not hearable.
However, the channel’s sound is recorded if its Audio setting is set to <
ON
>, even the sound is not heard in Live mode.
• Audio
- If set to <
ON
>, you can turn the audio of the channel ON/OFF on the Live screen.
- If set to <
OFF
>, the channel's audio is off on the Live screen and not recorded.
• Camera Name : Provide a camera Name.

You can enter up to 15 characters including space.
• Dwell Time : You can specify the dwell time for each channel.
• Scan Type : Select either Interlace or Progressive as necessary.

Video quality may degrade if set to Interlaced for a progressive network camera.

Set to Progressive for progressive network cameras, and set to Interlaced for interlaced network cameras.
Storage Device
You can check information on storage devices.
Confirming Devices
You can check storage devices and their free space, usage as well as status.
Devices available are HDD, and USB devices (Memory, HDD, CD/DVD).

• Usage : Sets the storage device's usage.
- Use both USB memory and HDD for backup purpose only.

The eSATA HDD can be used for either extended storage or backup purpose.

If an eSATA HDD device is used for extended storage or backup purposes, disconnecting eSATA device may restart the
system.
For backup use, the device can be disconnected if it’s not in use.
• Status/Management : Display the status of the storage device.
• HDD Map : Shows the internal HDD's locations according to assigned numbers.
