28_ Troubleshooting and information codes
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Is too noisy.
The dishwasher beeps when the
dispenser cover is opened and
during the initial stage of draining
the pump operation.
This is a normal operation.
The dishwasher is not level. Ensure that the dishwasher is level.
There is a ‘chopping’ sound
because an arm is bumping against
the dishes.
Rearrange the dishes.
Leaves a yellow or brown fi lm
on cups or dishes This can occurs from coff ee and tea
soils. Use programme with higher
temperature.
Does not have any indicators
lit.
The power cord is not connected. Connect the power cord.
Does not have smoothly
rotating arms. The arms are clogged with food
particles.
Clean the arms.
Leaves a white coating on
cutlery or crockery after
cleaning.
Hard water was used.
Check the salt fi ll indicator and
softener setting is correct according
to the water hardness of your area.
Check salt reservoir cap is correctly
fi tted.
Starts by itself. (DW-BG97)
The dishwasher has not been
turned on for more than two days.
This is an automated drying cycle
that keeps the SDP clean and is not
a malfunction. (If you wish to stop
the cycle, press the
Power button.)
