It is used to select the current trigger/sampling mode as “Auto Level”. In the “Auto Level” trigger mode, the trigger level
is automatically set to be 3 dB lower than the top power according to the amplitude of the measured pulse, so as to
ensure that the waveform can be displayed stably.
[Trig Level]
It is used to select the trigger signal threshold level, which can vary continuously between -40 dBm and
+20 dBm. When the pulse modulation signal is measured, the trigger level must be between the top power and the
bottom power to achieve effective trigger.
In the "Auto Level" trigger mode, the "Trig Level" can
‟
t be operated, and the trigger level value calculated by the
instrument will be automatically displayed below “Trig Level”.
[HoldOff]
It is used to test the pulse strings in different periods.
After trigger is performed each time, it is necessary to add a certain time interval during which pulse trigger is prohibited.
This time period should be shorter than the period of the pulse string but longer than the “Pulse Width Excluding the
Maximum Period in the Pulse String”. For example, if a pulse string includes five pulses with the periods of “2us, 4us,
6us, 8us, 10us” respectively, then “HoldOff” should be set between 20.1 us and 29.9 us so that the pulse sequence can be
triggered stably.
[Trig Slope]
Press [Trig Slope] to switch between “+” and “-”.
“+” represents the signal
‟
s rising edge. When the trigger position is “Mid” and the trigger delay is 0, the first transition
of the pulse waveform is in the middle of the screen; “-” represents the last transition trigger. When the trigger position is
“Mid” and the trigger delay is 0, the last transition of the pulse waveform is in the middle of the screen;
[Trig Output]
Press [Trig output] to select the trigger signal of Channel A or Channel B to output it to the “Trig Output” interface on
the rear panel. The trigger output signal is a pulse signal with TTL level.
4.2.5 Display
Press [Menu]>[Display] to enter the display menu.
[Disp Type]
It is used to select the display mode of the power measurement result, including Single, Dual, Trace, Stat Table, Stat
Trace and Text.
[Single]
In the single display mode: when the small window display mode is adopted, the data will be displayed on half of the
screen; when the middle or large window display mode is adopted, the data will be displayed on the whole screen;
[Dual]
