b) Power-on/power-off
Power-on:
Step 1.
Insert the power cord cable into the rear panel power outlet. At this time, the power indicator lamp above the
power button on the front panel will turn yellow, and the instrument will be standby;
Step 2.
Turn on the power button at the right bottom corner of the front panel. At this time, the indicator lamp on the
power button will turn from yellow to green;
Step 3.
The front panel user interface of the microwave power meter will display the relevant information about the
instrument start process: First, temporarily display the manufacturer's name and logo, and then enter the WinCE
operating system menu to enable the instrument interface;
Step 4.
After successful activtion of WinCE, the system will automatically run the initialization program of the
microwave power meter and display the main operating interface of the microwave power meter.
The instrument is ready for operation.
Warm-up
When the S2438 series microwave power meter is subject to cold start (i.e. the instrument is started in the complete OFF
state), it needs to warm up for a period of time in order to ensure accurate power measurement. When the specifications
are tested, the instrument should warm up for 0.5 h (please refer to the relevant instructions for specifications in the
specifications for details).
With the WinCE operating platform, the instrument should be used without user intervention or deenergization.
