6 Fault Diagnosis and Repair

This chapter will show you how to find out problems and accept after-sales service. and the error message of the
microwave power meter will be explained.
If you have purchased S2438 series microwave power meter and encountered some problems during operation, or you
need to purchase relevant parts, options or accessories of the power meter, the company will provide perfect after-sales
service.
Generally, the problems come from hardware, software or improper use. If there is any problem, please contact us timely.
If the microwave power meter you purchased is still within the warranty, we will repair your power meter free of charge
according to the commitment in the warranty certificate. If it is beyond the warranty, we will only collect the cost.

6.1 Working Principle

This section introduces the basic working principle and hardware block diagram of the microwave power meter so that
the user can know about the functions of the S2438 series microwave power meter and better solve the problems during
operation.
The working principle of the S2438 series microwave power meter is shown in Fig. 6.1. The S2438 series microwave
power meter includes the main unit, CW power sensor and peak power sensor. The main unit is composed of CPU board,
channel board, DSP board, LCD, key/keyboard, power module and rear panel.
