PUREnoise: Pure Noise
CWDisturb: CW disturbance
Programmable command:
[:SOURce]:RADio:AWGN:ARB:MODE ADDNoise|PUREnoise|CWDisturb
[:SOURce]:RADio:AWGN:ARB:MODE?
Example:
RAD:AWGN:ARB:MODE PURE
3)CW disturbance
Functional Description:
The noise mode is used with Band, ARB and Tone. After the generated base, ARB and dual tone/multi
tone signals are added with interference, the interference signal which is sine signal with a certain
frequency at this time is output. This work pattern is valid only when Band, ARB and Tone are
turned
on.
Parameter specification:
CWDisturb [ADDNoise | PUREnoise | CWDisturb]
Parameter list:
ADDNoise: Add Noise
PUREnoise: Pure Noise
CWDisturb: CW disturbance
Programmable command:
[:SOURce]:RADio:AWGN:ARB:MODE ADDNoise|PUREnoise|CWDisturb
[:SOURce]:RADio:AWGN:ARB:MODE?
Example:
RAD:AWGN:ARB:MODE CWD
4.2.9.3 System Bandwidth
Functional Description:
For the bandwidth taken up by signal transmission, the minimum is 1 kHz and the maximum is
the maximum sample clock of the instrument *0.4*2. In Base and Tone modes, the configuration item
is not editable, and the software automatically calculates the system bandwidth under the current
configuration. The specific calculation formula is:
In Base mode: System Bandwidth= Symbol Rate * (1+α); where α is the current filtering factor.
In Dual Tone mode: System Bandwidth= Dual Tone Freq Separation;
In Multi Tone mode: System Bandwidth= Tone Count * Multi Tone Freq Interval;
In ARB mode, the configuration item is editable and is used to determine noise bandwidth value with
“noise/system bandwidth ratio”.
4.2.9.4 Noise/System Bandwidth Ratio
Functional Description:
The ratio of noise bandwidth to system bandwidth, minimum= 1.0, maximum= maximum sample
clock of the instrument *0.4*2/system bandwidth.
This value is used to determine noise bandwidth with System Bandwidth according to the
following formula: Noise Bandwidth= System Bandwidth * Noise/System Bandwidth Ratio.
