Washing the brew group
To help make great-tasting coffee and to aid in the longevity of the brew
mechanism, carry out the following steps regarding the correct cleaning
and maintenance of the brew group:

Remove the brew group by depressing the lever in position “3” ref.

). Wash it thoroughly in hot water; do not use detergents or sol-
vents. Make sure the upper screen ref.

) of the brew group is
clean.
Dry the brew group carefully and replace it by again depressing the le-
ver in position “3”. Do not force the brew group into place; it should cli-
ck gently into place.
NOTE:
Before replacing the brew group, make sure that the
indicator is in alignment with the arrow ref.

). If the indicator and the arrow align, the brew
group should click gently into place. If they do not
align, use the supplied brew group key, turning it
clockwise until the indicator aligns itself with the
